In my case ,I would prefer to have a cat because is more independent than a dog and cleaner, I mean, that cats are washed by themselves, and you don't have worry to go out for a walk everyday, in addition is cheaper to have a cat than a dog, the cat don't need so many think, all that is only an opinion
