I am seeking to learn Mandarin via French or vice versa and help with your English skills as well.

I am a native speaker of American English, learning French and Mandarin. French is one of my family languages that is not widely spoken by others in my family. I try to listen to French several times a week and write in basic to intermediate French, sometimes. Since there are no mutual speaking opportunities, where I speak and others speak back to me, the most challenging aspect is understanding how well I can functionally use the language.

Chinese is my third language. I have a basic working knowledge of written and spoken Mandarin, when I am using it, but I haven't used it much in the past 2 years, at all.
