"My cup runneth over... " (quotation from an old translation of the Bible)
Could you please give me an example of using this beautiful idiom?
I try to use it every day, however, it seems like strange things are coming out of my mouth, like
I bought a cool dress, and my cup runneth over... (I'm happy about it.)
I just bought exactly what I wanted, and my cup runneth over.
Zhenka's eyes widened in surprise, but his cup runneth over... (he was also full of joy)!
We walked out of the tourist office our cup runneth over (full of joy).

You have understood this expression well. I would say however, that it is rarely used in the UK. It is certainly not something that is said on a daily basis. I would encourage you to try other expressions. For example, "Full of the joys of spring" - when you are energetic, happy and cheerful, "Over the moon", "On top of the world" - feeling very happy.
