It was a perfect, sunny day at the festival and it felt like nothing could go wrong. It was still early when Me and my friend Ann reached Notting Hill. We strolled through the streets and enjoyed the wonderful weather. But soon, there were thousands of people in beautiful costumes everywhere. I noticed a cute boy and wanted to show him to Ann. I looked around but she was nowhere in sight. I started to panic and even worse it started to rain. I ran for the nearest roof across the crowd but I fell and hit my legs. And what do you think? That cute boy helped me. Together we had found Ann and went in cafe. We had a fun time. I can say that it was the best day at the festival, but my legs still hurt.
I'd say
"I felt nothing could go wrong" or "it seemed nothig could go wrong"
"we had (such) a great time" or "we had (so much) fun"
"best day of the festival"
