Evangelion and Japanese Sword Exhibit Evangelion is a very popular Japanese animation made in 90’s. Even today many people including grownups are crazy about it. I and a friend of mine went to the exhibition; craft men and swordsmiths reproduced the sword using by Evangelion’s characters. We’re not a big fan of this anime, the illustration is beautiful though- We'd rather interested in the work. The swords were remarkably beautiful with reflection of the light. Sharpness of them did not seem to be different from the traditional real Japanese sword at all. There were notes by each swordsmiths about their work on a wall. They say that how much it’s tough to make them because it’s not really traditional sword. Nevertheless, at the same time, they had to try not to destroy the image huge fans having. Seriously, I do respect their passion and challenge for professional work.

Evangelion and Japanese Sword Exhibit

Evangelion is a very popular Japanese animation made in the 90’s. (When talking about a certain decade, we put "the" first) Even today many people, including grown-ups, are crazy about it. (It might sound more natural to say, "A lot of people are still crazy about it today, even grown-ups.")

I and a friend of mine A Friend and I (When you talk about another person and you, you always put "I" or "me" after the other person or people.) went to the exhibition; (Again, it might be more natural to say, "I went to the exhibition with a friend.") craft men and swordsmiths reproduced the swords using used by Evangelion’s characters. We’re not a big fan big fans (because there are two of you, we use the plural--this is even hard for native English speakers sometimes!) of this anime, though the illustration is beautiful though. (This sentence would sound natural if you if it was made TWO sentences: "We're not big fans of this anime. The illustration is beautiful though." If it's made one, then "though" or "but" should come right after the first part.)

We'd We're rather interested in the work. The swords were remarkably beautiful with the reflection of the light. (Maybe more natural to say, "with the light reflecting off them.") Their sharpness of them did not seem to be different from the traditional real Japanese sword at all.

There were notes by each swordsmiths about their work on a wall. They say that how much it’s tough it is to make them because it’s they're not really traditional swords. Nevertheless, But (this sounds a little more natural) at the same time, they had to try not to destroy the image that the fans have huge fans having. Seriously, I do respect their passion and the challenge of their for professional work.

NOTE: Your English is really good! Mostly I was changing things to make them sound a little more natural to native speakers.
