I wan't born yesterday Today I have learnt that the sentence "I wasn't born yesterday" has the same meaning in English than in Spanish. You can reply with this expression when somebody wants to fool you. Then, the other person knows that you don't believe the history he/her are telling you. In Spanish is literally the same "Yo no he nacido ayer", but you also can say "No me he caído de un guindo".
