grammar is perfect, no need to correct anything :)

here is a tip from me, usually ladies tend to say おひるごはん instead of ひるごはん.

this extra　お　makes the word a little bit polite and more familiar in daily conversation.

りょこうのじゅんびは、りょこう　そのもの　と　おなじくらい　楽しいですよね :)

(trip prep is always as exciting as the trip itself! ;))

Sorry, I forgot correcting the title, 5月25日 is correct as Mareen-san said. So 5月25日の日記 or 日記- 5月25日 is better. Karol-san and Masa-san are right, they explained that I didn't notice.

Sorry, I posted it before finished. Whether 勉強をする or 勉強する depends on the usage, and a speaker. 今日は勉強をしました is no problem, and I probably say that. However when your mom ask you, "are you studying Japanese?", she would say 勉強してる？. It's not 勉強をしてる? Whether 勉強をする or 勉強する is rather complicated, but the basic is "noun + を + verb". You can say チェスをする, but チェスする is not common to say. チェスをする is much safer.

Strictly speaking, you should not put space in the middle of a sentence. Actually, some Japanese nouns can be used with する without を, but whether 勉強をするit's not so common. 勉強をする
