Is there too much sport on TV? There are people who think that there is too much sport programmes on TV. In this essay, I intend to analyse the arguments for and against sport on TV. One of the strongest arguments in favour of sport on television is the fact that a lot of people enjoy these programmes. Besides, a lot of sport clubs earn a lot of money because of television. Last but not least, there are a lot of people who have a good job because of this. On the other hand, this sort of programmes do not promote a healthy style of life. For example, there are programmes who are sponsored by alcohol or junk food brands. Besides, these programmes cause problems in some families, because there are people who are in front of their TV all the day. On balance, I am not in favour of too much sport on TV because can create serious problems in some families, but there is not a problem if people learn when they have to turn on the television.

One of the strongest arguments in favour of sports on television is the fact that a lot of people enjoy these programmes. Besides, a lot of sports clubs earn a lot of money because of television. Last but not least, there are a lot of people who have a good job because of this.

On the other hand, this sort type of programmes do not promote a healthy lifestyle of life. For example, there are programmes who are sponsored by alcohol or junk food brands. Besides, these programmes cause problems in some families, because there are people who are in front of their TV all the day.

On balance, I am not in favour of too much sports on TV because it can create serious problems in some families, but there is not a problem if people learn when they have to turn on off the television.

(If they turn off the TV, then their addiction for sports decreases.)

Aureli - (1) I am from the US and we generally refer to Sport programming as Sports programming, just like we plural Math to be Maths.  If it is not normal to plural Sport where you live, then please ignore those corrections.

(2) "...but there is not a problem if people learn when they should turn on the television."  I suggest "... but there is not a problem if people learn to limit the amount of television they watch."  I didn't know how to show this alternate choice without being too confusing.

Very well done!!
