About My Hometown

My hometown is a small village, situated at on the edge of our province. It takes about two-hours by bus ride 1* from our village to the city center. It's far from the city center, so people in my hometown don't go downtown often.

People in our village live by growing crops,so their income is largely dependent on the weather2*. If the weather that year appeals to is good for the crops, peasents have a good harvest. However, if they encounter extreme weathers such as drought and flood, they will suffer and may have no earnings, altough they have spent a great deal on the crops.

Therefore, the local government should do more to attract investment, and help will to create more job opportunities for peasents. Otherwise, life would will be hard for them if they did do not have a good harvest.
