Amazing Japan!
Last summer I staid stayed in Japan for two weeks. Altough I thought that I would be "Lost in Translation" there, it didn't happen at all!
It's right that almost everything works in a different way in Japan but if you have read about manners and customs before you go there, the experience will be awesome!
People can't speak a fluent English (through embarrasment or poor knowledge) but they'll try to communicate with you by drawing or using signals. In fact, they are very kind and helpful and they are really proud of their country.
What I highlight (liked??) most of about Japan is the contrast that you can appreciate between modernity and tradition (the old and the new) in a short distance. You can be in the middle of the famous novel "Memoirs of a Geisha" and, suddenly, you can be ashtonished by thousands of neon lights!
Well done. To Stay is one of those pesky verbs ending in Y that doesn't fit the normal rules i.e. cry, cried. I understood everything. A couple of spelling errors but no problem. I've offered a couple of alternatives for your consideration.
