Li trovo molto interessanti!
In particolare questi.
In italiano, "Ogni morte di papa".
In inglese, è simile a "una volta in un luna blu".
Oppure in italiano, "Avere una bella gatta da pelare"
In inglese, è simile a "Avere una noce dura da rompere (o spaccare?)"

There are a lot of Italian idioms. You could also find an article on this site but I don't remember the author. 

Anyway, one Italian idiom that came to mind is: "In bocca al lupo" which can be translated as "Into the wolf's mouth". In English it is similar to "Break a leg" or simply "Good luck".
