How to use italki ?

I want to be good at English. This is a simple feeling, but I couldn't motivate myself for many years. Nearby the station that is nearest to my home, there is a new branch of an English school that I had once attended (before I got married). When I walk through the station, I see the school's sign. But I wonder, <em>that</em> "How long can I commute?" or "How often can I get back to here on my busy weekday nights?"  I had believed my company doesn't want me not to learn English, but to work hard.
Now I understand that I can design my life. I will start to learn again.

Well, how can I use italki? I'm searching for the best way for myself. I don't know much about the culture and system of italki. How to chat with <em>the</em> others... the new world looks like a wide open field.

In Japanese, we use the word "最寄駅". It means the station that is most close by the person's home. How can I say this in English?

[Sayaka, that would be translated as "local station."  For the sentence I made pink, I don't understand what you were trying to say.  If your company did not want you to study English, you would write something like this:

"I believed my company didn't want me to learn English, but only to work hard at my job."

If your company did want you to study English, you would write something like this:
"I believed my company wasn't against me learning English, but wanted me to study hard if I chose to do so."
