Just to remember this day I took OXFORD ONLINE PLACEMENT TEST today and received a C1. It's so far from what I really feel of my level, in particular, of my speaking abilities that the test doesn't assess. After today's 30-minute informal speaking session where I only "baa"-ed and "moo"-ed without being able to say anything proper aloud, I'm absolutely exhausted. It looks like my studying is only at the beginning. ++ There were several corrections which have somehow disappeared :(

Just to remember this day

I took the Oxford Online Placement Test OXFORD ONLINE PLACEMENT TEST today and received a (grade? ranking? level?) of C1. That's so very far from my own feeling of my level the level that I feel that I am at, in particular, about especially with regard to my speaking abilities, that which the test doesn't assess. After today's 30-minute informal speaking session where in which I only "baa"-ed and "moo"-ed, not being able to say anything proper aloud, I'm absolutely exhausted. It looks like my studying is only beginning.

Это ничего страшного )) The fact that you achieved C1 in the other facets of your English language is a fantastic result. You should be proud of it! Speaking is something that only improves with regular immersion. I can sympathise with you, because I studied Russian for 3 years, then when I moved to Russia, it took me months to finally get comfortable speaking! So, go easy on yourself mate! Bask in your well-earned achievements.
