The Tim じぁん!!!
It was sunny today. Out of no where, I got a serious craving for creamy cake. And I must have been nagging about it something fierce, because Dad finally just threw his hands up in defeat. Out the door he stormed, and came back with TWO whole birthday cakes! No one's birthday, mind you, but I guess Dad figured that would shut me up for good. Wrong! I devoured one entire cake as soon as he brought them in, and polished off the other one at dinner. His jaw about hit the floor in disbelief! Guess today was officially declared "Cake Day" around here.

I would not place a comma before “because”. A comma is needed only when you begin the sentence with “because”. Then, you would place a comma after the entire “because” clause.
Examples:
I like cats because they are cute. (No comma)
Because cats are cute, I like them. (Comma)

Funny story! I only found one typo: "nowhere" is one word not two. The last sentence puzzles me. Can you explain what you meant to say?
