Hello :-) generally, “manner” is used for actions and ”way” is used for direction. Example: “She has a very forceful manner of speaking” and “The store is this way”. But I know why you’re asking this question, because Americans love to interchange these words: Example: “He has a strange way of being” (“way” used to refer to an action/behavior). I’m an American native English speaker and it’s hard for me to answer some questions because American English doesn’t always stick to the rules. But I can promise you one thing! In American English, “manner” and “way” can be interchangeable when we’re talking about actions and behaviors. BUT we never use the word “manner” when discussing directions. I’m so sorry we make English so confusing 🌈
