It’s sunny today. The strip mall around is holding a street fair. My dad would sleep rather than go there, but evidently it wasn’t his call. This time I stand with my dad, he was right, wandering under the flaming sunlight is a terrible idea. More than a half of the stands are wrapped up and vacant. And I am sweating like a pig. After all, there is a sort of terrarium with a pair of peacocks inside. They don’t spread their tails, no matter how I tease them, maybe because it’s too hot. We had better come by evening next time.
