At first, the doctor thought my ear was blocked. However, after a hearing test, they found that the hearing in my left ear was much worse. They still do not know the exact cause. It might be Ménière’s disease or sudden sensorineural hearing loss, so the doctor prescribed medication for sudden hearing loss. This is the first time I have had a problem with my ears, so I do not know what to do. I feel worried because I do not know the cause or what will happen. For now, the best thing I can do is take my medication, so I will do my best. Today, I will work at my part-time job because I am covering a senior coworker’s shift. I do not really want to go, but I already promised to help. I will do my best without pushing myself too hard.
