Hi, I have some English questions. I would be appreciated if you could answer them.
1. Is this sentence correct or could you please change the sentence to sound natural?
'The reason why I didn't go out was because the weather was not good.'
2. Can I say 'leftover' for the stuff instead of food?
For example,
'I have some leftover gifts.'
3. Are these correct to write in a business email?
'I'm sharing the file as the attached.'
'Please refer to the attached.'
'Please refer to the attached file.'
Thank you

1. It's grammatically correct, but it could be more natural. I would suggest:
I didn't go out because the weather was terrible. / I didn't go because it was raining. / I didn't go out because it was cold.
2. Your meaning isn't clear. What are you trying to say?
3. I would suggest:
I'm sharing the file as an attachment. / I've attached the file.
Please see the attached file.

1. Sentence Correction:
* Original: "The reason why I didn't go out was because the weather was not good."
* Corrected: "I didn't go out because the weather was bad."
2. Usage of "Leftover":
* Instead of "leftover gifts," say "extra gifts."
3. Business Email Phrases:
* "I'm sharing the attached file."
* "Please refer to the attached."
* "Please refer to the attached file."
Summary:
1. Corrected sentence: "I didn't go out because the weather was bad."
2. Use "extra gifts."
3. Use: "I'm sharing the attached file," "Please refer to the attached," or "Please refer to the attached file."

#1 is correct but contains some words that are not needed:
"The reason I didn't go out was (the) bad weather".
"The reason I didn't go out is that the weather was not good"
#2 You can say you have no "leftover" gifts, but I'm not sure what it means.
#3 The third one is perfect. The second is poor style but is commonly used. The first doesn't make sense.

1) i didn't go out because the weather was not good.
You don't need to add was 2 Times and make your sentence short and meaning full.
2) yes you can use leftover instead of food.
