What does 'a regular degree course' mean? Thank you!
His instructor recommends that he begin a regular degree course.

Just want to pipe in here and say that from what I know...the method of delivery doesn't matter (part-time or distance)...
Regular degree programs are evaluated and you get credits. That is in contrast to continuing education that many universities offer for working professionals -- they're post secondary level but they're not for credit and they don't count towards a degree.

In my country, a regular degree course means a course which offers a degree on completion (bachelor's degree, master's degree etc.)
Regular refers to the fact that it is a full time course as opposed to a part time or a distance program.
