there is no point in doing sth or to do sth? hi, is someone knows the difference between There is no point to do something and There is no point in doing something?

We never say "there is no point to do..."; it's "there is no point to doing..." Usually, "there's no point to" is followed by a noun, and less occasionally a gerund. The meaning is "there's no reason for X". "There's no point in doing..." means nothing productive will come of the action.
