Both of your sentences are grammatically correct. Of course, the appropriate tense to use depends on the context, which is not given in your post.

Those sentences seem fine. What does sound funny to me, is how you say "sentences I created" :) To create would usually mean to make smth with your hands, thus bringing it "to life" - your creation. Here you can say "make up a sentence" or "write" instead. Good luck!
