What is the conversational way of saying "importunate people"? Is it "bothersome people"?

Привет Iris:-) Hmm... In my opinion, "Importunate people" are those who are "too persistent, too demanding, too insistent, or too intrusive." -->> Instead of saying "He is such an importunate boss.", you can say "He is such an overly demanding boss." "Bothersome people" are those who are "pesky, troublesome, irritating, or annoying." -->> "An importunate boss like him, though bothersome, is needed by this company to prosper." <<> Importunate people may be bothersome at times but not always (it all depends on the length of your patience). <>> (^_^)

Iris, Here is one that I am familiar with. A pest....an annoying person to pester....to annoy someone, especially by asking them something many times You're being a real pest. Would you leave us alone, please? How can I stop my boyfriend being a sex pest? The salesman pestered us with phone calls for over a week.

"Bothersome" is a good variation, however "demanding" is more commonly used.
