What is the difference between "갑니다" and "가십니다"?
There are two sentences, both of them means someone goes somewhere. They use 갑니다 in the first one and 가십니다 in the second one
1., 철수는 도서관에 갑니다.
2., 선생님은 학교에 가십니다.
I thought both of them is a formal form but I guess I wasn't right. Could you explain this to me, please? There isn't any information in my book about this.
도와 주셔서 감사 합니다 ^^

The second one should be "선생님께서는 학교에 가십니다.".
"갑니다 and 가십니다" are formal forms of "가다", and "가십니다" is the honorific form(=높임말) of "갑니다(=formal and neutral)".
The honorific forms are used to show respect for someone, here it is "선생님".
