How do you differentiate 口 and 囗 in handwritten hanzi?
As you see, the smaller rectangle is kou and the bigger one is wei. It is easy to differentiate using computer, but what about handwriting?

口味，the kou is a stand-alone word , in the word wei, kou is just a part of the word.you know we taste something with our mouth,so in the word wei have a kou
