Si yo fuera adolescente y un americano visitara mi instituto para hablarme de su cultura e historia, me encantaría que me contara por qué el concepto de independencia ha sido y es tan importante en la historia y cultura de Estados Unidos y cómo afecta su prevalencia en el nucleo familiar, en el ámbito educativo, en la dimensión profesional y en el contexto social. Ah! y también me gustaría que la presentación fuera divertida y, sobretodo, honesta, porque soy un adolescente y estoy en el mejor momento para cuestionar prejuicios :D Estoy segura de que lo harás genial Bethany!!

Hola Bethany ! I think you have a lot to say about your country, but if I was your student I would like to know these points : - the european colonization of the USA - cowboys vs american indians - the civil war and maybe how your country is as powerful today (economy, politics, wars and weapons...) but I am not sure your students will love it if it's too long ^^ I gave you some interesting points about the history. But as far as culture is concerned, I don't know . Maybe you can speak about your emigration culture. I need to meet some americans to know what's different between the european culture and the american one, and what could be interesting to learn for a student :) Good luck ;)
