같다 It Only Seems Like It there another verb besides 같다 to describe something only seeming like something else? I have two examples below. "It only seems like the math problem is hard (but, actually, it's really easy)." 방정식은 오직 당황시킨 양상만 어려운 것 같은데. "It only seems like they are fighting (but actually, they are rehearsing for a play)." 그 두 사람은 오직 싸움 짓만 운동하는 것 같은데. I tried my best to translate the Korean; hopefully you can understand my general intention with it. I want to use one verb that means something like "it only seems like," if that verb exists. I want to be able to say: "It only seems like the math problem is hard (but, actually, it's really easy)." 방정식은 어려운 것 ㅇ은데. "It only seems like they are fighting (but actually, they are rehearsing for a play)." 그 두 사람은 싸운 것 ㅇ은데. Is there a verb that is better suited for this situation than 같다?

You can use "인 줄만 알았다" to describe something only seeming like something else. "It only seems like the math problem is hard (but, actually, it's really easy)." 수학문제가 어려운 줄만 알았다. "It only seems like they are fighting (but actually, they are rehearsing for a play)." 그들이 싸우는 줄만 알았다.
