The first sentence is incorrect. The second sentence is correct. You could say: Person 1: I go there. Person 2: So do I. or: Person 1: I go there. Person 2: I go there too.

I have to disagree with Sally, sorry :) You could indeed say "So do I go there" but you need to change it to a question. For example: So, do I go there?
