고 is used to connect clauses, adjectives, adverbs or verbs, like: 재미있고 귀여운 애기는 빛깔 있는 새를 바라보고 있고 웃는다. ~ The funny and cute baby is looking and laughing at the colourful bird. 굿럭~^^

It is hard to explain it because of no context. But usually '고' is similar to 'and'. Ex) 그는 키가 크고 잘생겼다. / He is tall and handsome.
