turn around.round.over Are they interchangable when you move 360 or 180 degrees over yourself ? Or when you move something else? Is the preposition a need or is it understood without? Eg. She was behind me in thr street , I could see her when I turned. Thanks

The words 'round' and 'around' are usually interchangeable. If you are standing in the street and you want to see what is behind you, you can 'turn round' or 'turn around'. There is no difference. 'Turn over' is completely different. You can only turn over when you are lying down! If you are lying on your back, you have to 'turn over' in order to lie on your front.
