I don´t understand why is "I DO know" if it´s present. Can you explain it me?
I don´t understand why is "I DO know" in the next example if it´s present. Can you explain it me?:
There is a University that I (do) know very well because I studied in it.

Sometimes we use "do" to emphasize something.
'You don't love me anymore!'
'I do love you'
And so on.

And also "i know" and "i do know" is almost exactly the same so dont think about it too much.
