How do you say 'bravo? If you were at a concert or a performance and you wanted to shout 'bravo' at the end, what would you say? I can only think of 'آفرین' but it reminds me of what you would say to a small child. Thanks for any help.

You can say: ايول احسنت بابا ايول دمت گرم But we use these words when someone talks or does something amazing. For concerts we say: دوباره دوباره! Which means: Again again!

well, I think you can say ای ول (Ey val) عالی بود (it was excellent) دَمِت گرم (well done) or just listen to others and say whatever they say :)

Another way of saying that is "mashalla!", however It is not a completely Persian word but some people shout that in concerts, It is like a cheer in that situation. Also in my view the word "Afarin" is not just for the children, we can use it for adults too if we say it in a serious intonation!
