Is "jalpari جل پری" the Urdu word for "mermaid"?
Hi, can an Urdu speaker please tell me if "jalpari جل پری" means, "mermaid" in Urdu? Also, is "jalpari جل پری" literally translated as, "water fairy" in English? Thank you in advance for your reply! :)

Yes it means mermaid, As there is a song called Jal pari and when i read the translation it meant mermaid.
and Pari means Fari
