An adjective is something that describes or modifies the subject.
Big, small, cold, warm, hot, simple, complicated, red, green, etc.
I have a big house.
I have a small office.
I want cold tea.
I want warm cocoa.
I want hot coffee.
English is simple.
English is complicated.
The car is red.
The apple is green.
