Literally, guns blazing means a lot of shooting or gun fights. Figuratively, it can mean there is a lot of energy or action in the movie, like explosions or car chases. Stretched to the breaking point means something is pushed hard and is very close to breaking. In the movie, events happen to the characters that changes their friendship (bond) with each other.
