=> X가 Y보다 (더) 좋아요 [나아요].   * 좋다: good, 낫다: better.

X is small compared to Y
=> Y에 비하면 X는 (더) 작아요 / Y에 비해(서) X는 작아요.  * 비하다/비교하다: compare.

X is harder than Y 
=> X는 Y보다 (더) 어려워요. *어렵다: hard, difficult. 쉽다: easy.

I like X better than Y
=> 나는 Y보다 X가 (더) 좋아요 / 난 Y보다 X를 더 좋아해요.
