Should I use to+ infinitive after the verb 'help'?
Mum helped me to choose it. or Mum helped me choose it.

Both are correct.
'Help' is a very unusual verb in that it can be followed by either the bare infinitive or the infinitive with 'to'. There is no difference in meaning.
