I think that you can say :"zai wo qu nong dian shui de shi hou,wo ke yi ba shou ji fang zai zhe ma?(在我去弄点水的时候,我可以把手机放在这吗?)(when I go to get some water, can I put my phone here?)leave is "li kai" in Chinese, but leave is "fang or liu(stay) " in your sentence.

我去拿点水,我能把手机留在桌子上么?leave can be translated as "留" here, which means “remain to stay”. Also, you can use "放" here, which will be perfectly understood because of the context. thanks.

我去接点水,把手机放这行么? "Fang" could be "to leave" in this sentence. Another example: I'll leave my backpack here and go grab a bite. 我去买点吃的,先把包放这。

If you intend to leave something, you can say:“搁...在” or “放....在”, e.g. the sentence you asked, 我去盛水时能把手机搁(放)这吗? If you forget and leave something, "搁"“放” also work, but“遗留”"漏"“落(la4)”may be better.

Hello, Katherine , Jason cannot understand Chinese words, you need to write some "pinyin" at the same time.Although he said "fang" ,he didnt say "table" in this sentence: "Can I leave my phone here while I go get some water." I think that Jason needs to say :"zai wo qu nong dian shui de shi hou,wo ke yi ba shou ji fang zai zhe ma?(在我去弄点水的时候,我可以把手机放在这吗?)(when I go to get some water, can I put my phone here?)leave is "li kai" in Chinese, but leave is "fang or liu(stay) " in Jason s sentence.
