What's the most successful lesson you've ever taught or experienced? My students love my 'Thank God it's Friday'quiz. I run it like a Trivial Pursuit quiz but all the questions are based on what we learnt in class during the week. For a 50 minute lesson I invite the students to submit 2 questions each before Friday's classes, eg Why did Macbeth kill King Duncan in Shakespeare's play Macbeth? or Who wrote, 'Animal Farm?'. I have 50 questions. The class is then divided in groups of 4-5 with a sheet of paper and 1 pencil/biro. When I read out a question, the groups have to quietly figure out the answers and write them down. The group with the highest score after I mark the answers is allowed to leave class 5 minutes early next lesson. Sometimes I have a bag of lollies. The students don't think that they are actually doing any work , but they are revising and consolidating what they have learnt that week. This lesson works with any course that you teach.

we play whiteboard games. i have several cut white boards with pens and erasers that students use to answer questions in teams and compete with one another. it's their favorite activity and although it's elementary they love it! winners get bonus points ;) most of all, students are having fun without really realizing that they are learning.

Our teacher will give us two or three pictures without word. Then we should try to understand it and descrip what was happened at last it become a story or maybe a news. Through this way,we know the news likes Obma's new economic policy, the history about Expo or someting like the returning of POWs or maybe only a joke. I think is a vivid way to learn English. I think it's great~
