Does my translated text look correct ?
Here's a part of a text I've translated, the sentences are pretty long and I'd like a native to maybe correct or rephrase me.
I want it to sound perfect ! Bear in mind it's written for really educated people.
Thanks a lot !!!
About New-York :
"Broadly speaking, the city sparkles with a remarkable programme of culture activities. The richness of the weekly program of demonstrations, concerts, readings or festivals which are held in it, the almost infinite list of continuously opening and closing restaurants and festive places, the fast changing fashion which makes of a district the place to suddenly expose the emerging artist : so many signs of a city definitively faithful to its myth."

Are you planning to use British or American English? I'm American and we would not use "programme," we would say "program." However, I honestly would remove programme totally, since it's typically used to talk about something fixed in place, such as "The festival program runs as follows: 8am ...10pm... etc."
Here is how I would might write this in American English.

I hope this helps!
