你好 ! 在我小说的一页里，我跟这句子碰到了：外公看到孩子正朝着他笑，不知所措，仿佛之间，那人和孩子已经冉冉地飘上了天空。”仿佛之间”的意思是什么 ？仿佛：apparently/好像 ？。之间：at this moment/在这时候？。谢谢你的帮助

I think it means "as if at that moment....blah blah blah" so basically you are correct.
But most of the time people just say 彷彿 without 之間 because it sounds a bit weird I guess?!
btw you can trust me because I'm Taiwanese so Mandarin is my native language.
