Could anybody tell me what's the difference between 'NO" or "NOT"?

NO and NOT were definitely different. NO is Quantifier; used with either mass nouns or plural count nouns for indicating a complete or almost complete lack or zero quantity of. ex: there's no money left in my bank account. NOT is Negation of a word or group of words. ex: He is not good in English.

Hi Monti. As a rule, "no" negates a noun, and "not", as an adverb, negates a verb, adjective, or adverb. There are some tricky situations, such as "no good"/"not good". Remember that "good" can be both a noun and an adjective. If in doubt, and unless the word is a clear noun, "not" is safe: "not good" is the more polished language.
