Could anyone check this short summary for error, please?
I tried to write a short summary of a Peppa Pig story, but not sure of the tense of some phrases.
*************************************
One morning, it was raining outside.
Peppa and George were sitting behind the window, wishing for the rain to stop soon, so that they could play outside.
When the rain stopped, they hurriedly ran outside.
Peppa found a puddle.
George ran by to join Peppa.
Peppa reminded George that he had to wear his rain boots.
George listened to her and ran back to get his boots.
This made Peppa very happy for she liked to watch over George.
They found a really big puddle.
As Peppa jumped in it, she accidentally splashed George with mud.
Peppa quickly calmed him down by telling him that it was only mud.
On hearing this, George jumped into the puddle and splashed Peppa with mud.
In the end, all Peppa family came outside and enjoyed jumping and splashing in the puddles.
**************************
Is there any error in it?
Thanks a lot~

Hi Wisekimi,
The tense looks to be correct all the way through.
There are a couple of small mistakes with word choice though:
*In English we don't normally say "behind the window". It sounds strange to us. We would probably say that "Peppa and George were looking out the window".
*"George ran by to join Peppa." running "by" generally means to run past something. If George was running to join Peppa, we'd probably say "George ran over to join Peppa".
*"In the end, all Peppa family came outside and enjoyed jumping and splashing in the puddles." I haven't ever watched Peppa pig but I think, as we are talking about her family, we need a " 's" here. So it should be "all Peppa's family came outside...". That is because the family belongs to Peppa.
Hopefully this all makes sense!
