Have vs Eat vs Drink (Difference and Meaning )
I would like to know the meaning of the verb "have" when it is used with meals, food and drinks. I wonder if it means "to eat" or "to drink." What's the difference between using "to have" and "to eat/to drink"? When should I use each one?
I have some examples:
1. I will have a cup of coffee.
1.a. I will drink a cup of coffee.
2. I will have salad and fish.
2.a. I will eat salad and fish.
3. It's time to have breakfast/lunch/dinner.
3.a. It's time to eat breakfast/lunch/dinner.
4. I am having pizza now.
4.a. I am eating pizza now.
