Which sentences should I use at the end of an email? Due to cultural differences, I found that each countries have their own words when closing emails. Such as kind regards, I hope to read from you soon. So I want to know how to use polite expressions without offending others.

In the UK, it is common for an email where you require a response to end "I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards Name" "Regards" can sound a bit unfriendly on its own in the UK but can be more appropriate if writing to someone you don't know well. "Best regards" is not as common but can be used.

In the USA, closing email like this is most common in business emails: Regards, Name Replacing Regards with Thanks is also very common. Could also say “Warm regards” “Best regards” “Many thanks”. When in doubt use Regards.

Hi Zara, I live in Australia. Most of the time I would write ‘regards.’ If it was less formal and I was asking for something in the email I might write ‘thanks.’ I think it’s quite individual. Alice
