What is the different between "late" and "slow" in these sentences? I tried to close the window, but I was too slow.---창문을 닫으려고 했는데 너무 느렸다(동작이 빠르지 못함). I tried to close the window, but I was too late.---창문을 닫으려고 했는데 너무 늦었다(이미 상황이 늦어 버림).

slow in speed late in time That is the difference between the words. Usually if you are slow, then you end up being late as well. So quite often you can say one or the other without altering the meaning,

slow means that your movement was not fast (say, you take 1 minute to reach the window, though the distance was just 1 meter; or you are a slow-tempered person) late means you didn't do that in time (say, you wanted to close it before the rain came, but you didn't make it, and the rain already came inside) just my understanding^^

둘 다 문장둘은 정확하게 똑 같은 뜻이에요....거의.... Both sentences mean exactly the same thing almost... to be slow = moving slowly = 천천히 천천히 이동하는 (moving slowly) to be late = 왜냐하면 빨리 충분하지 않았기 때문에 (not fast enough) I tried to close the window = 이미 너는 이 문장이 알았어지요? but I was too slow = 충분히 빨리 아니었어요. but I was too late = 왜냐하면 빨리 충분하지 않았기 때문에 그래서 다음 후에..결과작으로... 내 생각해, 아마 나쁜 뭔가가 발생했습니다. So, after that....as a result I think maybe something bad occurred. 미리 천만에요. You're welcome in advance.
