recently I learned from a textbook that "vui vẻ" means “快乐”，and "vui mừng" means “高兴”。 I dont know it's right or not for sure, but u can understand that how they use in a sentences depends on the situation, mainly, “高兴” is used in oral speaking more than “快乐”。
