Is there a better way to write this sentence? By "flows" I mean that the action begins in one picture and continues in another. Thanks!!
In each group of these conditionally divided works, the action flows from one picture into another, thus forming a consistent narrative.

Hello there!
The you wrote it sounds fine, but to make it sound even more natural you can say either "the action flows from one picture to another" OR "the action flows from one picture to the next" :)
