I am interested in after school programs in different countries. I live in Japan, where my middle and high schools had dedicated time for club activities. Students must join a club in middle school. Therefore, it is a great chance to try something for the first time; for example, I played Hyakunin Isshu for the first time in a club. Hyakunin Isshu is a traditional Japanese game. Also, I learned many things there. First, when I was a dance club member, I gained new skills. In addition, I learned how to give instructions and manage a group. That experience gave me ability and confidence. It was very hard, but I am glad I did it, even though I was always sweating and tired.
