Different ways English speakers say that it is cold: It’s cold. It’s chilly. (A little bit cold) It’s freezing. (Really cold - not literally freezing) In Australia you might hear: It’s bloody cold. (Very cold) It’s bloody freezing. (Very, very cold) Today in my city of Perth, I would say it is bloody cold. We have had wind, rain and hail even though it is already spring. Can you think of any other expressions used to describe cold weather?
