This is a really bad idea! There is an old Chinese saying that goes don't stop eating after being choked by food once. So, if someone increase the cost of gas, what should the people who must drive to work do? Will they spend a few hours walking to work ? Maybe someone would say that subway is a great choice, but not every city has a subway system. In that case, it will take some people more money on the cost of gas, because they don't have any other choices. The worse thing is that they have to reduce their budget on onther aspects, such as food or education. The whole amount of money is fixed, they just flow from someone's wallets to a few people's pockets.The pollution still exists. So, I think that the best way to solve environmental problems should be viable. First, we should take a massive of surveies to find the main reason of causing pullution. Then, If it is definitely related to gas-powed cars, we should invent new kind of vehicles toreplace gas-powered cars, and they should be economic fot most people. Only being supported by most people, the way we choose to protect environment can be effectual!
